DREAMWAVE News and Rumors for 6/28/10

- The smoke seems to have cleared from the Prince
Mustafa Ali vs Acid war that took place at
"Immortality" on 6/5, but both competitors have
lasting souvenirs from the war. Prince Mustafa Ali
fractured his ankle in the middle of the match and is
on crutches for a month. Acid suffered bone chips in
his face and a hyper extended knee.

- Speaking of Prince Mustafa Ali, he will continue on
within the DREAMWAVE organization in a behind the
scenes role. He is actively retired from wrestling
and plans to stay that way.

- DREAMWAVE World Champion, "Next" Nick Brubaker has
made it public that "Silent Intensity" Austin Roberts
will not receive another rematch for his title until
he defeats the entire A-List. For those keeping
score, Roberts has defeated "Hollywood" Hades at
"Immortality" on June 5th and still has to overcome
Juice, and the newest member, Marshe Rocket. Roberts
faces Juice at "Summer Spectacular" on July 17th.

- Morale of the DREAMWAVE stars is said to have taken
a huge hit after Marshe Rocket betrayed "Mr. 450"
Hammett to join the A-List at "Immortality" on June
5th. Marshe was extremely well liked by the DREAMWAVE
stars and fans alike. His sudden change of heart
struck a chord with many of the wrestler's and
management. There is a feeling of uneasiness in the
locker room, as no one knows who Ryland Foxx is
looking at next to join the A-List. Hammett will have
his chance at revenge on July 17th, 2010 when he takes
on Marshe Rocket w/ Ryland Foxx.

- Joey Marx teamed with Lamar Titan at "Immortality"
on June 5th in a losing effort against "If Looks Could
Kill". After the performance, management offered Marx
another match, and he was scheduled to take on
'Legendary" Dan Lawrence in the 6:35 pre-show match at
"Summer Spectacular" on July 17th. Marx accepted the
match, but later found out he had a prior commitment
that day so had to back out of the DREAMWAVE match.
He is expected back with the promotion.

- After Joey Marx withdrew from his match with
"Legendary" Dan Lawrence on July 17th, management was
quick to ink a replacement. Lawrence will now take on
the debuting "American Bulldog" Doug Simmons. Simmons
is a physical prodigy and accomplished wrestler. Rumor
has it, he is bringing his friend "Ollie" with him as
well.

- If Looks Could Kill are said to be furious that they
don't have a match at "Summer Spectacular" on July
17th. After JC Costilli instituted the open contract
policy for the Tag Team Championships, If Looks Could
Kill, were said to be irate. They feel that they are
the number 1 contender's to the DREAMWAVE Tag Team
Championship, currently held by Zero Gravity. We have
learned through the travel department that If Looks
Could Kill requested and were granted airline tickets
to "Summer Spectacular" and will be in attendance.
Tag Team Champions, Zero Gravity, defend their titles
on July 17th against The Hybrids.

- Zero Gravity's high flying style is really taking
it's toll on them. CJ Esparza recently dislocated his
elbow while performing his signature maneuver, the
shooting star elbow. Brett Gakiya also hyper extended
his shoulder in their match with Big Money at
"Immortality" on July 17th. Management contacted
Gakiya and Esparza and apparently they are both going
to compete as planned at "Summer Spectacular". If ever
there was an opportune time for someone to finally
dethrone the champions, there is no better time than
now.

- DREAMWAVE was recently contacted about doing a three
day, three state tour this fall in conjunction with a
national touring act. While we don't have any
confirmation and very few details at this point, we do
know that it is at least being seriously discussed and
there is an offer on the table.

- DREAMWAVE senior official, Jason Harding, was on the
Friday, June 11th, 2010 edition of WWE Smackdown. He
was seen doing security during the Drew McIntyre and
Kofi Kingston segment. Harding has refereed on and off
in LaSalle for the last nine years. He has also
appeared on numerous Ring of Honor shows, a Dragon
Gate USA Pay Per view, and has done a tour of Japan as
well.

- DREAMWAVE received some national wrestling press due
to the no show of Sid Vicious at "Immortality". The
story was picked up in Dave Meltzer's world famous
Wrestling Observer newsletter, and it was just a
matter of time after that. Many other websites picked
the story up once Meltzer reported it.

- Starting with the September 2010 issue, which is
available now, DREAMWAVE results and Top Ten Ranking
are available monthly in Pro Wrestling Illustrated
magazine. The magazine is available monthly at Wal-
Mart and other newsstands worldwide.

- 2011 Season Tickets are now on sale on the front page and are going fast. There are less than 50 remaining.

- DREAMWAVE mobile updates are now available! Simply
text "Subscribe" to (805)-WRESTLE, that's (805)973-
7853. It is free to receive these updates aside from
standard text messaging rates from your subscriber.
The number will also feature a free hotline. That
feature is not currently available, but will be
imminently.

- Current Ring of Honor World Champion, Tyler Black,
is set to make his DREAMWAVE debut on August 7th, 2010
at "Adversity".

- DREAMWAVE made a major play to get former WWE star, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan), signed to compete in DREAMWAVE. The stars didn't line up at this time though, and he currently is not scheduled to appear. Negotiations are ongoing.

- Management is currently reviewing video and resumes
for the Good As Gold Rumble on September 11th, 2010.
The 2009 edition of "Good As Gold" was one of our most
critically acclaimed shows. Traditionally the show
features three title matches and the 20 man over the
top rope rumble. The winner of the rumble receives
the "Good As Gold" briefcase which is good for a shot
at any title within the next year. "The B-O-Z" Steve
Boz drew number one last year and outlasted 19 other
men to win the first "Good As Gold".

- World Champion, "Next" Nick Brubaker and "The Human Highlight Reel" Acid both recently signed contract extensions.

- Samuray Del Sol made a surprising return to
DREAMWAVE last month at "Immortality" and was
victorious over Justice Jones. Later in the night
Nick Brubaker issued an open challenge for the World
Title, which Samuray answered. Brubaker seems to not
be taking Samuray seriously due to his size. It will
be interesting to see how well Brubaker's training
camp goes for his match with Samuray. Del Sol is
100% healed from his shattered ankle that he suffered
last summer, and is said to be training very hard for
this once in a lifetime opportunity.

- Length of current title holder's reigns:

World Champion- "Next" Nick Brubaker (89 days)
Alternative Champion- "The B-O-Z" Steve Boz (89 days)
Tag Team Champions- Zero Gravity (143 days)

- As of this writing, DREAMWAVE has had 16 shows. GT Vega, Nick Brubaker, Steve Boz, Austin Roberts, and Hammett have never missed a single show.

- Of those 16 shows, there have been 111 matches total. The 100th match in DREAMWAVE history took place at the "Celebrate LaSalle" show. GT Vega defeated "Legendary" Dan Lawrence.

- Mason Beck was not in attendance for the double shot
weekend (June 4th and 5th) because he had previously
asked for the time off to attend a family member's
wedding out of state. Waylon Beck and Nikki were also
given the weekend off. Mason returns to action July
17th at "Summer Spectacular" when he takes on Revenge
of the Nerds (Dan the Man, Ninja Bill, and Gilbert
Lewis) in a 3 on 1 handicap match.
